Scams, Schemes, and Consumer Awareness [90 minutes]
How do you keep safe from getting taken? Identify the major scams and schemes to avoid in the online and offline world. Learn specific action steps to protect yourself. Learn how to develop a scam prevention mindset and identify common tricks that con artists use on their victims. You will also learn important questions to ask when investigating opportunities to distinguish between credible investments and scams.

Teens and Money [90 minutes]
Teens and parents can attend this class together. Starting teens off on the right foot will prove to be invaluable for their future. This class will teach teens how to manage money, savings, and even credit. Topics will include handling income, the rules of plastic, and how to avoid teen rip-offs.

This course will remove the mysteries surrounding your credit report and credit score. You will learn to read and interpret the information in your credit report, understand your credit score and, most importantly, obtain the tools to improve your credit records. You will also learn how to determine whether you are in your "debt comfort zone." You will understand what it takes to get approved for a loan or credit line.
